Vin Brulé

Italian mulled wine with lemon & Amaretto.

Cozy evenings during the most wonderful time of the year 🍷🎄✨

Red wine

Heat slowly until it is warm.
Maximum 75 degrees , so that the alcohol does not boil off.

Spices

After 10 minutes, add cinnamon, star anise, juniper berries, allspice, and cloves.

Lemon

Squeeze half a lemon, peel the other half, and add the yellow part of the peel.

Sweetness

Stir in 60g of rock candy or honey -  depending on taste.

Shot

Remove from heat and stir in 50cl of Amaretto.

Enjoy

Ingredients (for 2 people):

  • 0.75l red wine

  • 60g rock candy, sugar or honey

  • 50ml Italian Amaretto

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 star anise
  • 8 cloves

  • 10 juniper berries

  • 6 allspice berries
